TCX

How TCX Prices Cards

What the price is

TCX sets the listing price for every priced item. When the market for a card is thin, the seller chooses the price within TCX's published limits. The price shown on a listing is the executable listing price at which the item is offered for sale. It is not an estimate, an appraisal, or an informational figure. It is the price you pay if you choose to buy.

TCX sets each listing price. A listing price is an offer to sell, not an appraisal. TCX does not guarantee the accuracy of any price.

No price TCX cannot verify

If TCX cannot verify a price, it does not show one. We would rather tell you we cannot price a card than show you a number we cannot support. That decision is the same for every card and every seller.

Accuracy

TCX does not publish an accuracy percentage or claim a hit rate. A live accuracy dashboard, comparing TCX prices to what cards actually sold for, will be published and updated weekly once the beta has produced enough completed sales to measure honestly. We will not publish accuracy we have not measured.

What TCX prices during the beta

TCX prices professionally graded (slabbed) sports cards only, graded by PSA, BGS, SGC or CGC, valued up to $1,000. Cards outside this scope are not offered for sale on TCX during the beta, and the scope is stated before any purchase.

What we keep proprietary

TCX does not publish how it arrives at a price or decides which state a card is in. Every listing shows its price and the date it was priced.
